Are religious leaders cut from the same cloth as other human
beings? In other words, do they have human weaknesses like all of us do, or are they somehow noble or perfect in every way, and that is why they have reached the position they have? 

Their hands will reveal how great they really are. The hands of the spiritual leaders I have read on this blog tell me that it is rare to find a perfect human being, even amongst spiritual heads. Most spiritual leaders do possess something special, however. And just like amongst other human beings, it varies.

With regards to the previous Pope, Pope Francis, it was likely the intensity of his views and his unflinching commitment to the religious cause that made him special, but the pragmatic outlook must also have helped to elevate him to that position. It set him apart from the more conservative Pope, Benedict XVI.

And what about Robert Francis Prevost, who is the current head of the Catholic Church – Pope Leo XIV? Where does his greatness lie?

There are few hands which are as simple to read as the hands of Martin Luther King Jr. Simple because there are fewer lines on his hand and the other hand features are easy to recognise for what they are. Swami Prabhupada* was a spiritual teacher and was the founder of ISKCON (International Society of Krishna Consciousness) and like many of his kind has inspired millions of people. Yet, despite the reams of material written about spiritual leaders and their life and death, one always wants to be sure of their genuineness. The hands are a useful tool to help figure this out.

The Swami has a large hand, with long, clear lines, and more or less straight fingers which are neither short nor long. His head and heart lines are balanced with each other. Shrimad Rajchandra's hands

Shrimad Rajchandra was a godman/guru who died young. His hand is an unusual one. It’s a long, large hand with deep lines. Even more interesting is the difference between the two hands. Not discernible at first glance, but looking closely one can see that the headline on the right hand is longer, reaching the percussion. The other notable differences are a longer Saturn (middle) finger, a more pointed Jupiter (index) finger, a lower set headline, and a longer first phalange of the thumb.

Both hands appear to have what looks like a second heart line or Girdle of Venus, and such a clear line in this position is an unusual sign.
