Who is Malala Yousafzai?

Much has been written about Malala Yousafzai; glowing tributes in the west and some criticism from her countrymen, even after winning this year's coveted Nobel Peace prize. So, who is she really? A courageous girl who stood up against the Taliban to fight for education, or a puppet of the west? Or is she simply an ordinary girl who has been thrust into the limelight, someone who does not deserve her fame?

Well, she did go against the terrorists, and here is The hand reading of a Terrorist, just to give an idea of the personalities of the people she stood up to.

Her hand shows that she is certainly not an ordinary girl. The main features of her hand are

Arvind Kejriwal's hand reading

It's not surprising that Arvind Kejriwal from AAP (Aam Aadmi Party) and Anna Hazare, the social activist, did not see eye to eye. Their hands show that both of them are headstrong but that is where the similarity between them ends.

Kejriwal's hands show an energetic, strong, intellectual, balanced and focused personality. It also shows a fine calculative mind, even if a little headstrong, and an independent, original mindset. People skills exist side by side with

Richard Stallman's psychological make-up

Richard Stallman photo
People hold extreme views for a variety of reasons and palmistry can reveal why they think that way. People are often suspicious of radicals, especially of their motives. Are these people genuine or simply trying to attract attention or manipulating the public in some manner? Are they kooks of some kind? The hands can unmask a person's character quite well.

The dominant aspects of Richard Stallman's hands are the well-developed mounts of Moon and Venus, although Moon appears to be stronger. These developed mounts overshadow other mounts considerably, and this can create a lack of balance. The Saturn (middle) finger is a

The difference between Anna Hazare and Mahatma Gandhi

Anna Hazare, the social activist who has been in the news lately because of the Lokpal Bill, has been compared to Mahatma Gandhi. This post explains the similarities and differences between the two men by comparing their hands. But before I begin, it needs to be said that these two men couldn't be more different!

The major characteristics of Hazare’s hand are his strong mount of Moon, the deep and dark lines on his rather rectangular palm, the development of the lower part of the hand, and slightly short conic fingers accompanied by a long thumb. Mahatma Gandhi, on the other hand, has a squarer palm with a better balance of the mounts, a larger hand and longer fingers, telling us that he is quite different from Anna Hazare, although they could share

Warren Buffet's hand reading

Everyone knows that Warren is the smartest investor out there, and that he is also a philanthropist. His money-making talent is glaringly obvious in his personality as revealed by his hand, but his philanthropy is not, unlike the hand of Bill Gates.

Buffet’s hand is fleshy, the mounts well developed, and he has strong, long lines deeply etched on his broad palm. His fingers are on the shorter side, his thumb a little low-set and large, and the Apollo (ring) and Mercury (little) fingers are longer than normal, particularly the Apollo finger. These signs give us a clue as to how and why

Julian Assange's hands reveal that he is not a predator!

Julian Assange, the founder of WikiLeaks has said he is a gentleman, not a predator. I assume he means sexual predator, something he has been accused of. Does his hand corroborate his claim? Well, certain features of his hand like the underdeveloped Plain of Mars, the refined palmar skin, the slightly waisted thumb, the shape and length of his phalanges and sensitive tips do suggest that he is the gentleman he says he is.

The other signs on his hand a developed mounts of Venus, Moon and Jupiter and also Upper Mars. The heartline is very slightly curved, not too much, and with a small fork at the end. The headline is more or less straight, slightly wavy and joined with the lifeline at the start. Even if it is long, it seems fainter at the end. Overall, the lines on his hand are very fine. The Apollo (ring) finger is dominant and the Jupiter finger is a little curved with a conic tip. The Saturn (middle) finger appears to have a spatulate tip.

Nothing on his hand suggests that he has either high passions or is crude or violent. If anything,

Kiran Bedi's hand analysis

Kiran Bedi, a retired Indian Police Service (IPS) officer, and currently a social activist, has hands that all administrators should have. The shape of her hands shows her breadth of vision, common sense, pragmatism, thoughtfulness and analytical ability. Her thumb is excellent, long and well-shaped. This tells us about her strong leadership ability. The ability to control others and herself. All is not perfect about her, however, and no one knows this better than she herself. There is a certain inner

The Hand Analysis of Bill Gates

As you all know Bill Gates is not your average Joe. He was not born that way either. He was born gifted. Gifted with a fine brain plus the talent to make money. He didn't squander his inheritance. He developed all his inherent, character traits, and more. Some traits developed in him over the years because of the path he chose. The analysis of his hands reveals to us what Gates is all about.

Almost every sign in his hand tells us of his sense of balance. The shape of his hand tells us that he views things from a broad perspective. The way he holds his fingers and thumb emphasises this sense of balance and tells us that he does not hold extreme views. His excellent finger of Saturn, which is the balance wheel, tells us about his wisdom and prudence, as well as trustworthiness, strong focus, and dependability. The headline confirms the common sense that he has in plenty. And although he thinks brilliantly and independently,
