Shehbaz Sharif - Businessman and Politician

Shehbaz Sharif is a smart man, a capable personality, with great communication ability, which includes non-verbal communication. Such people are good at reading others, and yes, are able to get things out of them. Sharif is shrewd, and eloquent, with a good understanding of how money works. It is not surprising that this man has succeeded in both politics and business.

His hand has fingers which are on the shorter side, and a palm which is slightly longish, but not too long. His mounts are overall developed, except for perhaps the Saturn mount. It is not that common to find the Apollo mount developed, and it is so in his case. Sharif has a good Saturn (Fate) line as well, which starts at the base of the hand and goes up to the mount which shows

John Lee - his hands reveal his mental strength and cleverness

John Lee is slated to become the Chief Executive of Hong Kong. A quick look at his hand showed promise of it being an interesting read.

Lee has shortish fingers and a large, fleshy palm with prominent mounts of Moon, Venus, and Mars. The fingertips are rounded, except the Mercury (pinky) finger which is conic and low-set as well. The first phalanges are good, but not the second phalanges. The thumb is a good length, with an even balance of the first and second phalanges, even if it seems to be held a little close to the hand. The hand is rectangular in shape and the lines are finely etched, with a long headline.

An aspect of his personality that leaps out from his hand is his

Volodymyr Zelensky - an actor and a politician

You might think that actors and comedians shouldn’t become politicians because they aren't suited for politics…but don’t be too sure. Actors have always dabbled in politics in many countries including America and India, and of course…Ukraine.

To say that actors make good politicians would be stretching it…but to say that some qualities that actors possess could make politicians very successful – that’s likely. For example, charisma and a desire for fame and name and of course…acting ability. Politicians wear a mask – they have to. It’s in the very nature of their job.

To be fair, Volodymyr Zelensky, Ukraine's President, is more than just an actor. His hand

Madhuri Dixit - sweet and determined!

Madhuri Dixit reached the top in Bollywood and then about two decades ago gave it up temporarily to lead a family life. She has always been known as not just one of the most beautiful actors in the Hindi film industry but also one of the most talented. She is in her fifties now, but is still quite active in her profession. Curiosity about her never wanes and this hand reading has been much delayed.

Her hand is not too much of a surprise. Madhuri has long fingers, a slightly longish palm with slim slightly pointy finger tips. The thumb is long with a long first phalange and the lines too are long, uniquely so. The headline is joined considerably with the lifeline and goes across the hand, sloping a little. The heart line too is long, crossing the Jupiter mount and going to the edge of hand. The lifeline is long too, reaching the base of the hand and the fateline commences at the base of the hand and reaches the Saturn mount.

Her hands reveals a personality which is idealistic and impressionable. She is a person who has strong ethics in life, knows who she is, and is likely to stick to her principles even if not all that practical. Yes, this can mean losing out

Mao Zedong –Wise or Wicked?

Mao Zedong, also known as Chairman Mao, is a famous historical figure, but controversial. He is revered in China by many, but there are those who want him to be held responsible for human rights abuses.

What does his hand tell us about this man, hailed as a hero? He was the founding father of the People's Republic of China (PRC), which he ruled from 1949 until his death in 1976.  No one can deny that he ruled with an iron hand but was Mao a great wise man as well, as some people firmly believe?

Mao's hand has a large palm, more rectangular than broad, and his fingers as compared to the palm are on the shorter side. The first phalanges of his fingers are not particularly long but the third phalanges are thick and long. The fingertips are mostly rounded but the Jupiter (index) fingertip is conic and the Mercury (little) fingertip is almost pointed. The Apollo (ring) finger dominates and is longer than normal, and the Jupiter finger is low-set although it is difficult to say whether it is shorter than normal.

You can check out his hand photos here, here, and here, and that of his left hand, here.

The lower part of his hand is also developed, particularly the Moon mount. The Mars mounts are either underdeveloped or developed slightly. The thumb is medium set, and a good length, and its second phalange dominates. The head and heart lines are a little curved and the heartline is considerably low-set. This creates a narrow space between these two major lines, although mostly underneath the Saturn (middle) and Apollo fingers. The head and lifelines are joint.

It is not surprising why Mao's reputation is so controversial. It is so because Mao was a complex man. Unpretentious, simple and seemingly self-effacing he was, but he was also the kind of man with a tendency to suppress his emotions and allow his head to rule.

His hand shows very good executive ability. Mao was a doer and this is a dominant feature of his personality. Fame and name mattered to him a lot, maybe to such an extent that he would take bold steps, maybe risks, to achieve it. This was the driving force of his personality.

Yes, idealism is shown on his hand but this is limited, and it was probably used to further his main aim, which was to garner renown. He had the power of words behind him as well, rhetoric – very clearly seen on his hands. However his thinking was not broad thinking, and in the middle years of his life, it was probably quite narrow thinking.

Mao's interest in being rich was absolutely zilch.

He had the penchant for being moody, solitary and very restless, inspirational and imaginative. His hand also reveals a certain coldness of temperament.

Mao wasn't an intellectual and there was a crude side to his personality. Also, ethics and/or morality was not high in his scheme of things. He probably considered these esoteric values, not practical; simply obstacles to getting things done. What this means is that he would likely go to extremes to get his way. There are fewer barriers for people with hands like this as instincts tend to rule. His hand shows limited self-control as well. As action-orientation is another major feature of his personality, he would take action without too much mulling over the consequences. The main thing would be to get the job done and the end justifies the means kind of attitude.

He was not overtly aggressive, however, and possibly not the kind who would get his hands dirty. His outwardly demure persona could have a way of disarming his enemies and also help him connect with the common people. Lack of pride and arrogance would have helped him get his work done.

Saddam Hussein's hand – does it show that he was evil?

One assumes that the hands of men known for their evil deeds will show a hand with an evil personality. People do evil deeds but there is no hand which is evil per se. If one comes across a person who does bad things, the hands usually show a selfish, out-of-control personality, someone with a brute will and strong impulses. People are not usually heartless. They are just out of control.

There are several hand readings of dictators on this website, and each of these characters tend to be different from each other although almost all of them have a base, primal side to their nature. What this means is that the instincts prevail and dominate and these people give in to these primal instincts. You will find such people in everyday life as well and they usually land up in prison if the country they live in is not lawless. If people of this type come to power, as they do in weak countries, they will destroy the very fabric of society, cloaking their criminal behaviour in either religious or political ideology.

Saddam’s Hussein’s hand shows the base of the hand developed, with heavy Moon and Venus mounts. The Lower Mars mount is developed as well, and the Apollo (ring) finger is long, too long. The thumb is of average length and possibly a little low-set with an average first phalange which bends backwards. The second phalange of the thumb is a little thick and quite long. The fingers are fairly straight with tapering, rounded ends. The Jupiter finger is quite low-set. There aren’t too many clear pictures of Saddam’s hand available on the net, however.

You can check out his hand photos here and here.

In Saddam’s Hussein’s case, there doesn’t appear to be a religious bent of mind. His hand in fact shows is a man who hungers for
