Paulo Coelho's hand reading

Paulo Coelho pic
Paulo Coelho is famous all over the world for his novel – The Alchemist. He has 28 other books to his credit. He was also committed to an insane asylum by his parents but later managed to get out. Some people consider him their spiritual guru. One would think he is quite an intriguing personality, complex in fact!

His hands show a heavy development of mounts, short, straight, plump and flexible fingers with square tips, a very large thumb with a well-developed and supple top phalange, and good knots on the back of the hands. The thumb is also thick. The mounts of his hands which are the most developed are the Venus, Jupiter and Moon mounts. These mounts are excessively developed. The Jupiter (index) finger appears to be pointed. Knots are developed heavily.

Unfortunately, not too much of his headline is visible and therefore one has to rely more on the shape of the hands and fingers to get a glimpse into his personality. It was disappointing to

Li Keqiang the Chinese Premier

Li Keqiang's hand reveals extraordinary leadership ability; the ability to handle people and get the most out of them. His hand also shows an ambitious disposition and immense self-confidence as well as the ability to lead others. It shows the capability to rule and manage people without appearing to be a tyrant.  Of course, this can be said with confidence not just by looking at one sign, but because overall, his hand is good.

Brilliant leadership cannot be determined by just one sign on the hand. A hand with chained lines or a short thumb will negate any good effects of other signs. A leader needs to have a clear mind backed by a strong, determined and goal-oriented personality which can connect with others.

The shape of Li Keqiang’s hand is a good one.

Arvind Kejriwal's hand reading

It's not surprising that Arvind Kejriwal from AAP (Aam Aadmi Party) and Anna Hazare, the social activist, did not see eye to eye. Their hands show that both of them are headstrong but that is where the similarity between them ends.

Kejriwal's hands show an energetic, strong, intellectual, balanced and focused personality. It also shows a fine calculative mind, even if a little headstrong, and an independent, original mindset. People skills exist side by side with

Your hand lines are a reflection of you; not vice versa

Your future depends on who you are and how you behave. Not on the lines or the signs of your hand. Lines do not control you or your future. You do. The lines are formed according to how you think. The hand is a reflection of your mind, not vice versa.

Despite writing about this several times I get people who misinterpret this to mean that their fate hinges on the lines of their hand. They believe that if their hand lines are good they are lucky, and if the lines are bad it's bad luck.

An anxious businessman wanted to know if he was going to bring "financial ruin" on himself because of

Cristina Fernández President of Argentina

The reasons for Cristina Fernandez’s popularity are not far to seek

although her hands do not show her to be a people-friendly personality or possessing the warm empathetic persona that some politicians typically have. In fact, her hands show her to rather secretive, and a very private person. Even if she is compassionate, her hands do not show her to be

Denzel Washington is an uncomplicated guy

What struck me most about Denzel Washington’s hands was the difference in the Headline in the left passive and right active hands. The Headline is better on the right hand, and this by itself shows that this man is self-made. Denzel did not inherit the level of focus, determination and self-control that is seen in the personality he has today. He has developed these personality characteristics. Also to be noted is the wider gap between his Head and Lifelines on the right active hand. This enhances the quality of

Sreesanth's folly

It is believed that Sreesanth the cricketer succumbed to temptation when he fell prey to bookies. That he was a "weak" personality. The weakness of character appears to be a widely held belief, mainly because of his known outbursts on the cricket field.

Actually, Sreesanth's hand reveals a far more complex mindset. He has a

Stars, Crosses, Symbols and Superstition in hand reading

Hand reading is not about superstition, but the shadow of superstition has stuck to hand and palm reading...well, at least to some extent. As a result, hand readers and palmists are seen as some sort of psychics or maybe even charlatans. Those who believe expect them to unravel the mystery of signs and symbols and tell the future with accuracy. Often some palmists oblige and either predict something dire for a sensationalist effect or are effusive with their praise and good tidings of the future. Gullible believers fall prey to this and I often get emails from confused and disturbed people asking whether a particular prediction will really come true. The predictions that people are given are about death, divorce, accidents, children dying, or some other drastic and unfortunate event. Needless to say, it's lies which have been dished out to them.

Death and hand reading is a post which is a must-read for anyone who believes that the hand can predict death.

It's a commonly held belief that signs, shapes and symbols on the palm reveal significant events in the future, events which cannot be avoided. Whether it is triangles, circles, tridents or fish or animal signs, they are supposed to have significance.

They don't. To begin with, shapes of animals or objects or even shapes like circles or triangles

Why is Leonardo DiCaprio unmarried?

Many Hollywood stars marry once or twice, if not thrice. However, Leonardo DiCaprio is a known player and doesn't show any signs of getting married. He doesn't seem to want to marry. What makes him different from his famous colleagues in Hollywood? Reading his hand was the nearest I could get to an answer.

The dominant personality traits shown by his hand is an enjoyment of solitude, high sensitivity and imagination that can border on the morbid. His hand also shows moodiness, with a certain amount of self-centeredness and restlessness.

There are other reasons why Leonardo could be a commitment-phobe.

Pakistan's Imran Khan

Imran Khan, known to the world as a cricketer, philanthropist, and politician, is a celebrity of sorts. But who really is Imran Khan, the person? What is his character like?

Imran enjoys fame and name, and that is probably why he is interested in politics. There is nothing wrong with that type of motivation. Unless people enjoy being in the public eye, they won't turn to politics. Either it's idealism that attracts a person to politics or it is a desire for fame or both. When it comes to organisational ability and intellect, he is average, although

The long ring fingers of Sharad and Ajit Pawar

It is common to see similar hand characteristics in parents and children, and at times even between grandchildren, nephews and nieces. Fingerprints can also be of similar shapes although actual details are different. This similarity is reflected in the personality traits which are often shared by family members.

It was interesting to note a similarity in the hands of Sharad Pawar and his nephew Ajit Pawar (elder brother’s son). This similarity lies in the formation of their Jupiter and Apollo fingers (index and ring fingers). In the hands of both these men, the Apollo or ring finger is longer than their Jupiter or index finger and it is nearer in length to the Saturn (middle) finger.

A comparison of the hands of Pope Francis and Pope Benedict XVI

Pope Graphic

from Pixabay

The personality or Cardinal Jorge Bergoglio or Pope Francis  as revealed by his hands is significantly different from that of the previous pope (Pope Benedict XVI). The main differences oddly enough lie in the realm of their belief system. While Pope Benedict's hands show that he was an uncompromising believer, rigid in his beliefs, Pope Francis’s hands show him to be more
