Mark Cuban - Idealistic Entrepreneur

The hands of Mark Cuban, the American billionaire entrepreneur and investor, speak volumes. The shape of his hand, the mounts, the fingers or the lines on his palm – all tell us a story. However, there's a lot about this man which remains hidden because for all his appearance of being open and outspoken, he is at heart, a loner.

Mark’s hand shape is quite good: the palm is broad and it’s balanced with the length of the fingers. The fingers are the correct length, neither too long or too short. A similar balance is seen with the phalanges of his fingers as well. Whether it's the first, second or third phalanges, they are neither too long nor too short. His fingers too are all of normal length although the Jupiter (index) finger is low-set, but it is normal in length. 

However, the third phalanges are a little thick except for

the Saturn phalange. The Apollo and Mercury third phalanges are the thicker ones. The first and second phalanges are slim, and the second phalanges are a little waisted (shaped like a waist) as well. The Jupiter fingertip is conic, a little too much so, and the Mercury fingertip is also conic in shape.

The Moon mount is the most developed on his hand, overshadowing the other mounts. 

The heartline is good, it’s long, curving and ends between the first two fingers. It could possibly have a branch but cannot be sure. The headline is unusual. It starts high on the Jupiter mount, leaving a significant gap with the lifeline and goes well across the hand, sloping only a little and ending in the Moon mount area. What’s unusual is the line on top of the headline. At first glance, it's parallel but when you look closely it appears to start from the headline itself, maybe below it, or perhaps it doesn’t touch the headline at all (without high resolution pictures of his palm cannot confirm it). Wherever it begins, this line functions like a double headline. 

A double headline is rare and shows extraordinary ability and brilliance. This double headline is not visible on his passive, left hand and as the passive hand shows the inherited self, this means that Mark Cuban has developed his abilities because of his own initiative and hard work. Ambition and drive has been present from a young age and this appears to be inherited.

What these hand features show is that Mark has this wonderful brain, a self-made one at that. Wonder what motivated him to develop himself into the brilliant entrepreneur that he is? Well, it can never be just the thinking prowess or just the ambitious nature. His driving force has been his imagination and creativity, inherited traits. He chose to channel them into innovation. Mark is the kind of man who will always be a creator of something as imagination is part and parcel of his thinking. Mundane, humdrum things do not interest him. 

Money is not his primary motivation. This does not mean he doesn’t enjoy the luxuries and status that come with money. He enjoys the perks his success has provided him, status symbols included.

A love for travel is also shown on his hand. Although he is a loner, he has the ability to network and can reach out to people but in a cerebral way. He is definitely not a love and hugs sort of guy. He is likely to be faithful; not the philanderer type. His heart is in the right place.

The creative mind is often accompanied with other personality characteristics like restlessness, changeability and moodiness and Mark can at times can become a victim of his own imaginings. His tends to be sensitive, sometimes over-sensitive, and can imagine slights. He is not mentally as strong as he appears and is the kind who could withdraw under attack. He is enormously pragmatic though and this aspect of his character keeps his weaknesses under control.

Idealism is an intrinsic part of his personality and it can at times be taken too far. This is a vulnerability. This idealism is not romantic idealism. When it comes to romance and family, Mark is pragmatic and loyal. 

Maybe it's because of his vulnerabilities but Mark is likely to do some things secretively. His ideals are important to him and he may not reveal the actions he is taking to further them. He may not want to reveal them because of a fear of public disapproval. In this aspect he’s a bit like George Soros. He is independent minded and likes to do things he believes are right, but may not be entirely open about what he is doing.

His ability to think and his ability to do are perfectly balanced and this is one of the reasons for his success. 

As he is not a people’s person, he is unsuitable for politics. He has a philanthropic mindset but the idealism can complicate matters.
