Dr S Jaishankar is a prominent Indian politician, the Indian foreign minister currently. He was a diplomat once and has made a name for himself for being diplomatic, yet assertive, and for his strategic, witty and incisive commentary. There is nothing on his hand which contradicts this image. The hand, however, does tell us something more.
His hand doesn’t have too many lines and the lines which are present, are dark and long. A long straight heartline, a little low-set, and almost end to end. A headline closely attached to the lifeline and though not as long as the heartline, fairly straight and even. The lifeline, though clear, seems to be in two parts but as there were no high-res photos to confirm, can’t really read this line. Even the fateline is not clearly visible on the palm and this could be because it is not
as dark as the heart, head and life lines although it's likely present on the Saturn mount. A sunline is present as well, on the mount, but again not as dark and clear as the main lines. The palm is broad and the lower part of the hand is developed. The third phalanges are a little thick and the first are long and slim. The second phalanges are short. The Jupiter (index) finger is bent and low-set and the other fingers seem a little bent as well, though not as much as that of the finger of Jupiter.

One aspect of personality that stands out on his hand is that he’s a clear thinker and a deep one, although sometimes it can turn out to be black and white thinking. That said, he is an intellectual and open to different streams of thought. However, he does tend to have strong, unshakeable opinions and this is because his heart thinks for him more often than not. His strong, passionate approach to life tends to shape his views. Idealism is also present and it's his intellectualism that enables him to balance it with pragmatism. To a large extent, however, he is able to keep his feelings in check.
He is eloquent and can be manipulative and very clever indeed, especially in his use of words. He is the kind of person who can wiggle out of uncomfortable situations with his words. He is perfect in the position he is in now, as India’s foreign minister. His capability and talent are visible on his hand. Loyal, fastidious, diligent and painstaking is what he is. A very smart, capable man. Studious but able to read and lead people. What may not be as easily visible to the world is that he is controlling as well.
Jaishankar has little desire for money or fame and does not possess a very good understanding of financial matters. He does like power though.
He has some insecurities and this keeps him humble and grounded.
