What her hand tells us about her character at first glance is her strong idealism and clear thinking but the hands also reveal a very aggressive and manipulative nature. The hand shows secretiveness and also, unfortunately, self-interest. In her case, the self-interest has nothing to do with getting rich but power means a lot to her. That is her driving force. The "self" also encompasses her country. When the qualities of idealism (this quality is present far more than can be considered normal) with high levels of aggression (again far greater levels than normal) and nationalism (which is what self-interest often translates into for politicians), it tends to result in a hawkish politician.
Takaichi's hand also shows her ability to articulate well. Indeed, she is a very clever person, with a good understanding of people – a master at political play. She will not hesitate to take risks. Most of the time, she will win as she has good judgement.
As mentioned earlier, her hand shows no interest in enriching herself but fame and name is everything to her. That's probably why she chose this profession. Politicians rarely lack this quality so this characteristic can be considered normal.
Cynicism and a high level of competitiveness are some of her other characteristics. She is not the kind of person to back down easily, although she is not stubborn and can be diplomatic, using sweet words if the occasion demands it. So her words are not always genuine.
That said, she is also someone whose heart plays a part in her decisions. This is often seen on idealistic people…their ideals being shaped by their emotions. Therefore, not everyone will see her as being logical.
Is she special? When it comes to her personality – she is. The qualities she has – of ambition, aggression, competitiveness, nationalism, idealism, and also the ability to manipulate people are all quite extraordinary. In other words, she is a winner.
So is she good for Japan? She is a capable leader no doubt but she has to be careful because she could go too far. If she does do that, then history will not remember her kindly.
