Kriti Sanon - shrewd and ambitious

Kriti Sanon is one of the notable actresses in Hindi cinema in 2023, with several hits under her belt. She is pretty and talented. What about her future? Will she last in Bollywood? She is here for nine years already and that does say something about her staying power. Whether she lasts for another decade or even another five years, depends a lot on what she wants from life and who she is.

The hand can tell us a little about who she really is. Considering that she comes from a non-filmi background, her hand will probably have a story to tell because her life took an unexpected turn and it might even tell us about how she made it in this cutthroat film industry. There are hundreds of pretty faces, but Kriti Sanon must have something special about her.

She has a long hand, with long fingers which are tapering and a longish palm as well. The lines on her palm, or whatever is visible of them, are more or less straight. The head and heart lines are not too long and in fact, on the right active hand, the headline seems to be in two parts, the first part (which is straight) ending somewhere in the middle of the palm. The lines on the left palm, which is the passive hand, are not of great quality but there is some improvement on the right, active hand. However, even on the right hand, there is an unevenness of the lines, even if they are longer, and the lines tend to be a little wavy and thin.

The fingers are slightly bent, more so the Mercury (pinky) finger, which also happens to be quite long relative to the other fingers. The first phalanges of her fingers are good, and the third phalanges are thick, but not of the pinky finger. The Jupiter or index finger is high-set although in length it seems normal.

One thing is clear. The reason she eventually got the success she desired is because of her personality. Her hand shows boldness, extroversion, a fearless attitude and common sense. Plus, it shows extraordinary shrewdness and there is also the ambition – a desire for fame and name. She shaped herself because of her ambition and she did it through her hard work. She has talent, no doubt, and she is fairly intelligent as well. However, it is her bold, confident personality which pushed her ahead of the pack and this is an inherited personality characteristic. 

Kriti knows what she wants and is a go-getter but not in an overt, aggressive way. She can scheme, and this is often seen in people who are not obviously aggressive. Her hand belongs to the kind of person who will be very careful about what she says and does and she will think before she says anything. And yes, she could do something for effect. How she appears is very important to her.

She was rumoured to be in a relationship with Sushant Singh Rajput and they apparently broke up because both wanted to focus on their careers. From Kriti's hand, this is very likely. Sushant on the other hand was not that pragmatic.

Kriti's hand also shows an inner insecurity and this leads to anxiety. This is not because she is from a non-filmi background – this vulnerability is in her character and this is what she inherited. She did not inherit a strong mindset although she projects confidence. What is likely missing is a strong resistance to adversity. This does not mean she is weak because she is hard-working, ambitious and has an ego. Best not to mess that with ego!

What she projects herself to be is very important to her and she will try and maintain this persona, at least in the first half of her life. Yes, it does mean that Sanon’s hands show that she is not that genuine in her interactions, but this could be her way of hiding her insecurities and protecting herself from being hurt. There is likely to be a change in her later, probably after the mid-thirties, or after the age of forty.

She can last longer in Bollywood if she is able to think beyond herself, get her insecurities in control, and not take any rash decisions. At times, her deep feelings and insecurities can override clear thinking. It is important to listen to advice, especially when it comes to new projects.
