Wang Yibo - an actor and a philosopical man

Wang Yibo
The swanky Wang Yibo is a Chinese actor, dancer, singer, rapper, and professional motorcycle racer. Quite a versatile celebrity, and one of the most famous in China.

His hand is unique, in the sense that it is large. Sure, people do have large hands, but it is not so common. That is perhaps why there are many mentions of Wang Yibo’s large hands. Large hands have significance in palmistry, but their significance can never be understood fully unless one takes into account the hand as a whole.

John Lee - his hands reveal his mental strength and cleverness

John Lee is slated to become the Chief Executive of Hong Kong. A quick look at his hand showed promise of it being an interesting read.

Lee has shortish fingers and a large, fleshy palm with prominent mounts of Moon, Venus, and Mars. The fingertips are rounded, except the Mercury (pinky) finger which is conic and low-set as well. The first phalanges are good, but not the second phalanges. The thumb is a good length, with an even balance of the first and second phalanges, even if it seems to be held a little close to the hand. The hand is rectangular in shape and the lines are finely etched, with a long headline.

An aspect of his personality that leaps out from his hand is his

Mao Zedong –Wise or Wicked?

Mao Zedong, also known as Chairman Mao, is a famous historical figure, but controversial. He is revered in China by many, but there are those who want him to be held responsible for human rights abuses.

What does his hand tell us about this man, who has been hailed as a hero? He was the founding father of the People's Republic of China (PRC), which he ruled from 1949 until his death in 1976. No one can deny that he ruled with an iron hand but was Mao a great wise man as well, as some people firmly believe?

The hand reading of Xi Jinping, the Chinese President

Xi Jinping 2019China’s powerful President, Xi Jinping, has been criticised, particularly after the way in which China handled the Covid19 crisis. But the President's hands show that he is a compassionate leader, with a great love for his people.

His hands have developed mounts of Moon, Venus and Mars, particularly Lower Mars. The hand, squarish with a broad palm and short fingers, appears to be stiff. The fingers, on the shorter side, are straight, have short middle phalanges, good, slim first phalanges and thick third phalanges. Tips are conic, more so on of the Jupiter and Mercury fingers. The ring (Apollo) finger is a little too long and it’s possible that the index (Jupiter) finger is a little short. The heartline is dark, medium length and curved (which makes it long) but does not reach the Jupiter mount. The headline is straight and fine, fainter at the end, and overall not that strong.

These hand features tell us about a person who is down-to-earth and for whom

Chow Yun Fat's hand reading

Chow Yun Fat free photo from wikiChow Yun Fat is known to be down-to-earth, humble, charitable and a person who likes the simple things in life.

Most of this is confirmed by his hand, but not all of it. There is nothing on his hand that suggests a philanthropic temperament, yet he has planned to donate his fortune to charity. His hand will give us some answers.

He has a long, fleshy palm with a slightly high-set thumb held a little close to his hand and shortish conic fingers which are more or less straight. The first phalanges are long, particularly that of the Apollo (ring) finger. The second phalanges are all short and the third phalanges seem normal. The lines on his hand are

The hand reading of Jack Ma

Jack Ma Photo croppedJack Ma, the Chinese businessman, has an interesting hand, the kind which could baffle some hand readers because Ma does not have strong, well-etched lines. Strong lines show a strong, clear-headed and focused personality so does this mean that Ma is not a strong personality? This cannot be because Jack Ma is the founder of the Alibaba group and he is not just a businessman with a high net worth (over 4000 crore or 39.1 billion USD) but also a politician and philanthropist.

Without strong lines on his hands, how did Jack Ma take Alibaba to such great heights? Well, for one thing, all his lines are not weak. The fateline on his hand is not very clear, not visible in the photos on the internet. Possibly, he does have a clear but thin fateline, not as dark as the other main lines. Considering Ma's success, one would have expected a stronger fateline. And as for the headline, it is by no means a superior one, although it is better on the right active hand – which shows that he is a self-made man. One can call it an average headline. The heartline and lifeline appear to be good though, well shaped and dark, and perhaps these compensate for the other lines.

His hand shape is good. Long, slim

The hand reading of Jackie Chan

The hands of Jackie Chan give us a glimpse into the movie star's personality, and explain, to some extent at least, certain controversial things the actor has done in his life, like not batting for freedom.

The main features of Jackie Chan’s hand are his broad palm, slightly short, broad fingers, a dominant Apollo finger with a spatulate tip, a shortish, bent and low set Jupiter finger, and developed mounts of Moon, Venus and Lower Mars. He has a good thumb, low set, and the top phalange is a little thick, and his little (pinky) and Saturn (middle) fingers are short. His lines are finely etched and the headline slopes in its second part. The heartline is also curved and just about enters the mount of Jupiter.

Lee Kuan Yew - Hand Reading

Lee Kuan Yew picture
Lee Kuan Yew was the founder of Singapore and was known to be an incorruptible personality and a visionary.

He has an ideal hand in some respects: a large broad palm, fingers of medium length, mounts neither flat nor overdeveloped, well-etched long, balanced lines on a firm palm and a good, long low-set thumb to boot. All these signs point to a balanced character without personality quirks or eccentricities, a broad, progressive outlook, a strong purpose, and a clear head.

Lee Kuan has been criticized for being a dictator and curtailing freedom of speech. Where is this shown on his hand?

Actually, his hand does not reveal him to be of a dictatorial temperament, not in the sense that people

Li Keqiang the Chinese Premier

Li Keqiang's hand reveals extraordinary leadership ability; the ability to handle people and get the most out of them. His hand also shows an ambitious disposition and immense self-confidence as well as the ability to lead others. It shows the capability to rule and manage people without appearing to be a tyrant.  Of course, this can be said with confidence not just by looking at one sign, but because overall, his hand is good.

Brilliant leadership cannot be determined by just one sign on the hand. A hand with chained lines or a short thumb will negate any good effects of other signs. A leader needs to have a clear mind backed by a strong, determined and goal-oriented personality which can connect with others.

The shape of Li Keqiang’s hand is a good one.

Bruce Lee's hands do not show a violent nature

If there ever was a legend, it was Bruce Lee. And if there’s a hand I’ve been curious about, it’s his. While examining his hands I looked for signs of violence, and perhaps I might have found what I was looking for if I had a clear picture of his lines. But after sifting through scores of pictures of his hands I could just about see the shape of his hand and fingers, and one picture showed me a glimpse of the lines.

What struck me immediately after going through Lee’s hand pictures was that he had

Michelle Yeoh's hands show her to be different

Michelle’s Yeoh’s hands are quite different from a typical actor's hands. Her hands show her to be a practical, down-to-earth woman, with a broad and sensible outlook on life. She is far less immersed in herself than other actors. In other words, she appears to lack that quintessential quality of narcissism, which actors often possess.

Research has indicated that actors/celebrities are more narcissistic than the general population. The research shows that while men in the general population are more narcissistic than women, in the celeb world it is the femme fatales who are

The Dalai Lama's hand analysis

Dalai Lama smiling
His Holiness Dalai Lama is the spiritual and political leader of Tibet. As a palmist and hand reader, one would expect significant differences between his passive and active hands because his life changed dramatically when he was a child and this would have impacted his personality and the future. The passive hand shows inherited/subconscious qualities (in Dalai Lama's case his left hand is the passive one) and the right active hand would show the current state of his mind.

There are some differences. The headline is longer on the right,

Wen Jiabao's hand analysis

Wen Jiabao, the Chinese Prime Minister, has a hand that shows a love for his country and also strong idealism. This is common in many good politicians. At the same time, his hands show that he is humble and at heart, not very confident deep in his heart.

His hand shows that he has a genuine warmth for people, a reasonable attitude, and a lack of stubbornness. He is not diplomatic, however; can be blunt. He is an intelligent man, with a good imagination and in that sense, he can be called a visionary.

He has a
